Members of the University of the Philippines-Los Banos Alpha Phi Omega fraternity run naked on campus, carrying protest placards, as part of their annual Oblation Run. According to the UPLB-Theta chapter of the fraternity, the original run, then called “APO Streak” that happened on December 16, 1976, was a dare for frat members to run naked around campus. Bets of beer were pledged amounting to 40 cases. A year after, APO members in UP Diliman ran naked on campus to promote the play, “Hubad na Bayani.” Since then, the Oblation Run became an annual event on both campuses, often carrying protest themes.
